Join the high-performance football camp that has been turning young players into professionals for 12 years.

The goal of the High-Performance Camp in Alicante is to help young players grasp the concepts of collective technique and assimilate tactical movements in game development. This enables them to automate individual technical elements, enhance their game vision, think quickly, and make sound decisions.

The main technical learning objectives of this camp include improving the following aspects of the game: control, dribbling, passing, ball handling, and shooting (including with the non-dominant foot). Additionally, it covers heading, offensive and defensive techniques, as well as football intelligence.

Join our high-performance football camp now and develop your skills to become a high-level player, while also becoming part of the Detection Football Partnership Program.

THE METHODOLOGY

"This methodology involves the recording of the majority of training sessions," explains Ángel Linares. "A group of independent evaluators, separate from the coaches, analyze the footage to assess players thoroughly and determine both their current condition and the goals to be achieved. Based on this assessment, players are grouped according to their level, age, and specific requirements."

"Thanks to a clear roadmap, the player experiences a progression that they feel themselves."

The next step is to tailor football instruction to each player's characteristics, creating courses and sessions specifically designed to ensure the player's development and enhance specific aspects of their technique, tactics, decision-making, and more. It's a detailed and concrete plan that adapts to the player's training requirements and is compatible with their sports, academic, or family commitments. A fully personalized learning strategy that, depending on the player's type, can be based on in-person training, distance learning, sessions involving new technologies, intensive courses spanning a few days, long-term professional programs, bioimpedance reports, structural analyses, and more.

Each player has different needs at various stages of their sports development. That's why adaptability is key, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace and with their own goals. "With this methodology, the player discovers their strengths, weaknesses, and improvement goals," says CEO Ángel Linares. "With a clear roadmap, the player experiences a progression that they feel themselves, which is essential in terms of motivation and positive reinforcement. Ultimately, it's about adapting the ACATEC method to all the variables inherent in an international and intercultural project like ours."

EDUCATIONAL MODEL

Identification:

Recognizing the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values that sports directors and executives of professional football clubs in the top leagues of Western Europe will demand from players in the next 10 years. This identification is the result of continuous work and is constantly updated as substantial changes are identified in the studied reality.

Weighting:

Determining a specific weight for each identified skill, knowledge, competence, and value based on the player's specialty and position on the field.

Breakdown:

To facilitate learning and assessment, the identified skills, knowledge, competence, and values are broken down into very specific and detailed behaviors. Thus, the coach and the evaluator only need to determine if the player does something or not and to what extent (never, sometimes, often, always).

Initial Assessment:

Determines the player's real situation and level in each of the skills, knowledge, competence, and values in their learning process.

Definition of Personalized Goals for Each Player: It is jointly decided (player-coach) which skills, knowledge, competence, and values we want each specific player (with name and surname) to improve and acquire.

Planning:

Determining personalized learning strategies. How and when to ensure that the player reaches the established goals. We schedule specific training actions and a specified timeframe.

Action:

Implementing the strategy through planned exercises, games, and activities.

Feedback:

We jointly evaluate (coach-player) the errors that occurred during the action to repeat it (feedback) with the appropriate corrections that the player has reached through their own conclusions. The player acts out of conviction, not instruction. The ACATEC coach encourages and enlightens. If we do not achieve the intended goals, we will immediately - as many times as necessary - change the planned strategies to adapt to the cognitive process of each specific player.

Assessment:

Once the established timeframe to reach a goal is completed, the player is assessed to determine to what extent they have achieved it. When the result is satisfactory, we move on to defining new objectives.

Result Visualization:

Thanks to the evaluation, the player becomes aware that they are acquiring new knowledge and skills, motivating them to continue learning with consistency and a positive attitude.

Setting New Goals:

The coach and the player continually establish new challenges and objectives that the player must achieve. The process repeats with each training action. This is the circle of excellence.
